      Rantoul, IL is a village in Champaign County. The current mayor is Chuck Smith, serving since 2013. Rantoul is named after Robert Rantoul, Jr., a U.S. representative and a director of the Illinois Central Railroads.

      Exciting things are happening through the Rantoul Tomorrow initiative. Rantoul is a great place to live and work!
